Gold in Recovery Water

Determination of Gold concentration for Gold Bath Recovery

The primary objective of testing gold concentration in recovery process waters is to optimize process efficiency and
strictly control material costs. Given the high market value of gold, accurate quantification is essential to minimize
financial losses, evaluate the performance of the recovery system, and conduct a precise cost-benefit analysis of the
materials utilized.

Method

End-point analysis.

Analysis time: 1 minute.

Analysis sessions with multiple samples are possible, up to a maximum of 16 tests for the CDR GalvanLab® and 3 tests for the CDR GalvanLab® Junior.

Sample Preparation

The sample can be used as is.

Test Principle

The gold content is determined based on its reaction with a chromogen that produces a color, the optical intensity of which is proportional to the concentration of Au in the sample being analyzed.

Calibration Curve

The calibration curve was obtained by correlating the CDR method with the reference method.
